HISTORY OF EASTERN ROD AND CUSTOMS

Eastern Rod and Customs began life as Clayton Custom Cars (CCC) in 1996. For over ten years, CCC's automotive craftsmen specialized in building custom cars and hot rods that took their clients to the winner's circle at auto shows and onto the front cover of magazines nationwide. CCC built a solid reputation around selling turn-key 41 Willys, hot rod parts and custom roller packages.

In 2008, the assets of CCC were purchased by a new owner and Eastern Rod and Customs was born. The business relocated to historic downtown Raleigh, North Carolina with the same great craftsmen under a new management structure. Today Eastern Rod and Customs focuses on quality customer service and quick turn-around on custom cars and auto restoration projects. Integrity, quality and craftsmanship are at the core of Eastern Rod and Customs.

A TEAM WITH A PASSION FOR CARS

The Eastern Rod and Customs team consists of highly qualified mechanics, metal fabricators, body and paint technicians and businessmen whose lives revolve around cars. From the owner, who obtained his Mechanical Engineering degree from North Carolina State University, to the team of highly skilled technicians, each ERC member adds a unique technical element to the business. Specializing in auto restoration, ERC uses only the highest quality parts and materials. ERC understands that vintage cars need special care and attention. With a full fabrication shop, top-of-the- line equipment and a passion for cars, the ERC team provides clients the peace-of-mind that their cars are done right the first time.
